These Chickpea Blondie Brownies are AH-MAZ-ING. Did you ever make something and surprise yourself at how good it was?
Chickpea Blondie Brownies
Equipment
- Food Processor
Ingredients
- 2 cups Chickpeas
- 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
- 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/4 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1/3 Cup Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a square baking pan with parchment paper so that the side of the parchment paper lay over the edges.
- Blend all but the chocolate chips in a food processors. Blend until a smooth consistency.
- Transfer batter to a bowl and fold in the chocolate chips.
- Place the batter and spread into the lined panned. It will be sticky. It helps to use a spatula coated with cocoout oil or cooking spray to spread.
- Bake 20-25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Let cool and then ENJOY! (It will hardedn a bit while cooling)
Don’t be scared that they are made with chickpeas. You can’t even tell, I promise! Even the pickiest of eaters approved them. My kids devoured these in minutes! The whole pan was gone in a blink of an eye. See evidence in the picture below. Viv shoving them in like there is no tomorrow!
