Chickpea Blondie Brownies

Chickpea Blondie Brownies

Equipment

  • Food Processor

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Chickpeas
  • 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1/3 Cup Chocolate Chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a square baking pan with parchment paper so that the side of the parchment paper lay over the edges.
  • Blend all but the chocolate chips in a food processors. Blend until a smooth consistency.
  • Transfer batter to a bowl and fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Place the batter and spread into the lined panned. It will be sticky. It helps to use a spatula coated with cocoout oil or cooking spray to spread.
  • Bake 20-25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Let cool and then ENJOY! (It will hardedn a bit while cooling)

Don’t be scared that they are made with chickpeas. You can’t even tell, I promise! Even the pickiest of eaters approved them. My kids devoured these in minutes! The whole pan was gone in a blink of an eye. See evidence in the picture below. Viv shoving them in like there is no tomorrow!
